zero percent commission regime ..comes into force from 1st nov 2008 for travel agents who deals in flight tickets....its real hell...the only answer is ..expensive air travel for air travellers...
agents to charge transaction charges wich leads expensive fares in domestic and international air traffic..they want to shut down sub agents..
over 30000 travel agents in india about 3000 travel agents are credited to AITA ( international air travel association).
agents could charge rs 350 for economy class while charges could be as high as rs.5000 per ticket for first class travellers..
travel trade pandits claims this move to save rs.800 crore a year for the travel industry..
but they dont knw how many people ll suffer with this..how many sub agents ll shut down there livelyhood...how thay can servive who based on ticketing bussiness..
no commission...means we ll not have anything while issuing air ticket and we have to charge extra from the clients...how much they ll give it to us..???
rs 200 rs 300 or excessive liek rs 500....
how come this much of money is enough for living.....
